About This coach

Hi! My name is Alyson Trudan. I am a certified Parenting Coach, former educator and instructional coach with a degree in Early Childhood Education and Development. My most important and meaningful job, though, is being a mom to two amazing kids.

Throughout my ten years of experience working with children while coaching educators and families, I have always seen the magic and value that children bring to our lives. However, it wasn’t until I became a mother myself that I realized the true work of parenting. I noticed - undeniably- how much of my daughter’s development mirrored my development. How much her struggles and triggers were a direct reflection of mine. I realized through this practice that it wasn’t her responsibility to change her behavior - it was my responsibility to better understand my own. How often have you seen a flicker of yourself in your own child’s behavior? What would it feel like to understand the why behind this and the where to go next? How would it feel to break cycles and build a better way forward?

As a parenting coach, my role is to help you understand your own parenting past, make connections to how it’s showing up for you and your kids now, and walk with you into the future that you want for your family.

I specialize in working with families with young children - ages 0-10. I have experience working with couples as well, along with parents of neurodiverse children.

Personally, this program has transformed the way that I parent. It has created a stronger connection with my children, uplifted my family, and built a confidence in myself that I did not think possible. I know it can do the same for you, and I would be honored to guide you in your journey!

What Makes THEM Special?

Before becoming a Jai coach, I spent ten years in the world of Early Childhood and Elementary education as both a teacher and an instructional coach. I had the opportunity to work with families of children ages Pre-K to 5th grade. I am also a mother to two young kiddos ages 3 and two months. This experience allows me to have both authority and empathy when working with parents in the toddler and infant seasons of life.

My biggest strengths are reflective listening, empathy, helping clients make connections from past to present, strategic thinking, and my love of the brain when it comes to child development along with the connection between the scientific and emotional worlds. I believe deeply in the power of this program, and cannot wait to share my own experiences with others and to help parents see, believe in and reach the future they want for their family.

I have experience coaching one-on-one, couples, groups, and parents of neurodivergent children.
