About This coach

I am a Certified Parent Coach with over 30 years of experience in the mental health field. I hold a master’s degree, am a licensed Creative Arts Therapist, and a Board-Certified Music Therapist. Raising our two neurodiverse boys, our path has brought immense challenges, tremendous joys, and humbling moments of growth, all of which deepen my understanding of the families I work with.

Both my professional and personal journeys have inspired me to offer parents support and insight as they discover what works best for their unique families and values.

When I’m not coaching, I direct a children’s theater and make music whenever I can. I love painting and sculpting rocks and adding quirky touches to my garden, which mostly consists of pachysandra, since I am really not a very good gardener. My happiest days include a really good snowstorm, a hot cup of coffee, and a gripping book or movie while cozied up with my husband and our boys.

What Makes THEM Special?

As a Parent Coach, I bring honesty, authenticity, and a deep understanding of the complexities of raising children today. With my background, I support parents with both sensitivity and practical insight.

Having raised two neurodiverse boys, one of whom has autism and other challenging needs, I understand struggles firsthand—and I know the hard work it takes to make things better for everyone involved. Whether you’re navigating meltdowns and behavioral issues, coping with a new diagnosis, or addressing school concerns, I can help you find realistic and effective strategies.

My goal is to equip you with tools that fit your unique parenting style and family needs. You don’t need to be a perfect parent or have all the answers. What matters most is your willingness to learn, grow, and discover solutions that truly work for you and your family.
