My signature quote says it all..."Our children come through us, not for us, except for the lessons they reflect to us, during their journey, in an effort to grow us up along the way." This generation is calling us to evolve the way we parent. We must step from parenting OVER them (as in so many previous generations) to WITH them. I help moms learn how to do this by gently uncovering the limiting beliefs their teen's behaviors are triggering in them. Together we work on practical strategies for their unique kids around communication, boundary setting, and the tightrope of when to help their teen and when to allow the natural consequences of their child's choices to birth the life lesson. This work is for those who are courageous to change themselves in order to improve the relationship they have with their teen now, and for future grandchildren. When I'm not coaching, speaking in public on the topic, or writing, I enjoy being with my own kids and taking long walks with my husband.
