About This coach

In early 2022, I completed the 12-week Parent Coaching program through the Jai Institute for Parenting, even though I wasn’t yet a parent. At the time, I thought it would be a great addition to my qualifications, given my passion for education. What I didn’t anticipate was how profoundly the course would transform me—how I navigate friendships, relationships, and my entire perspective on parenting.

During the program, I uncovered parts of myself I hadn’t explored before. I dug deep into my childhood and discovered how it shaped me as an adult. In the process, I healed many wounds I didn’t even realize I had and found peace with things I once wished were different.

This journey of healing inspired me to create Ray of Sunshine Parenting. My mission is to help others experience the same sense of peace and comfort that I found through this work. Whether you're already a parent looking to reflect and rejuvenate your approach or a parent-to-be wanting to plan ahead, I would be honored to guide you on your journey.

What Makes THEM Special?

With a background in Early Childhood Education and a deep passion for child development, parent coaching felt like a natural extension of both my career and lifestyle. I am a strong advocate for therapy and the healing of past traumas. Like many adults, I didn’t initially recognize how my own childhood experiences shaped my adult life. But through my personal journey in parent coaching, I learned to embrace vulnerability, which profoundly transformed my relationships—with my family, my partner, and most importantly, with myself. This healing work has made me not only a better person but also a better mother. I want my daughter to grow up seeing a mom who worked hard to heal, so she won’t have to carry that burden herself.
