About This coach
I am a certified parent coach, a former teacher, and a mother of three. With a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education and a Master of Education in Special Education, I have always been committed to helping children become the best versions of themselves. However, after becoming a parent in 2015, I began to recognize not only how influential familial relationships are to the development of children, but also how much our own childhood experiences directly impact how we show up as parents.
My background in child development and education, combined with my passions for self-discovery and living mindfully, led to several years of learning about and implementing as many peaceful parenting strategies as possible. I became a parenting coach in order to guide other parents, caregivers, and educators through this life-changing work.
In addition to supporting clients with their approach to parenting, I use my teaching experience to help families as they navigate their children’s learning and development from early childhood through adolescence.
When I'm not coaching, you can find me spending time outdoors with my family!
What Makes THEM Special?
I know firsthand how challenging (and rewarding!) parenting can be, and I bring empathy, patience, and lived experience into every coaching session. With my background in teaching, and now with three school-aged kids of my own, I understand both the early years and the busy, sometimes chaotic season of school, activities, and the growing desire for independence. I love helping parents make sense of their children’s behaviors and their own parenting patterns, and I believe that more joy is possible when we remain connected with our kids. My passion is supporting parents in maintaining that connection while setting boundaries and limits with kindness and empathy, so they can find more calm, confidence, and joy in their parenting journey.
