About This coach
As a coach, I draw from both my professional expertise and my personal experience as a foster, adoptive, and biological mom to children with diverse needs, including neurodiversity and additional challenges. These roles have taught me invaluable lessons about the power of connection, the importance of emotional regulation, and the resilience of the human spirit. I bring these lessons into my coaching, offering parents a compassionate and empowering space to navigate the complexities of parenting.
I love being a coach because it allows me to witness incredible transformations in families. I believe that every parent has the ability to create a meaningful and nurturing relationship with their children. My approach is rooted in the belief that there is no such thing as a “bad parent” – instead, I see parents who are doing their best in challenging circumstances. I’m passionate about helping parents replace shame and self-doubt with confidence, clarity, and connection.
What makes me unique is my ability to hold space for parents without judgment, no matter their story. I deeply believe that every parent’s journey is valid, and I strive to help them uncover their strengths and build on them. My experience navigating attachment, emotional regulation, and family dynamics across all ages gives me a broad perspective to meet parents where they are and guide them toward where they want to be.
When I’m not coaching, I enjoy spending time with my family, exploring nature, and diving into a good book. I also love learning about personal growth and staying up-to-date on parenting research, which inspires the work I do with my clients.
What Makes THEM Special?
What sets me apart as a coach is my deep commitment to creating a non-judgmental, shame-free space for parents. I wholeheartedly believe there are no “bad parents” – just parents doing their best with the tools they have in the context they’re living. Every parenting decision makes sense when we take the time to understand the story behind it, and I’m here to help parents explore that story with compassion and curiosity.
My coaching is grounded in both professional expertise and personal experience as a foster, adoptive, and biological mom to children with diverse needs, including neurodiversity and additional challenges. Navigating these unique dynamics has deepened my understanding of attachment, emotional regulation, and the importance of meeting both parent and child where they are. I know firsthand the complexities of parenting across different ages and stages, and I bring this lived wisdom into every session.
I specialize in helping parents who feel overwhelmed or unsure find clarity, confidence, and connection in their parenting journey. Whether you’re navigating toddler tantrums, teenage transitions, or the sensitive work of supporting neurodiverse or additional needs children, I’m here to guide you with practical strategies and a lot of heart.
The heart of my approach is the belief that every parent has strengths and wisdom within them. My role is to help you uncover and amplify those strengths, free from shame or judgment, and to help you build a parenting approach that feels authentic, nurturing, and sustainable for you and your family.
