About This coach

As a JAI-trained Parenting Coach who believes that relationships—not control—are the foundation of effective parenting. I support parents of tweens and teens who want to build calmer homes, stronger connections, and more respectful relationships with their children.

I bring both professional training and real-life parenting experience to work. As a foster parent, I believe that parents deserve support, not judgment, as they learn to respond differently. When parents feel regulated, understood, and empowered, meaningful change becomes possible for the entire family.

What I love most about coaching is helping parents see themselves and their children in a new light. My approach is grounded in curiosity, empathy, and a deep respect for each family’s unique story.

When I'm not coaching, I enjoy learning how to garden (with varying degrees of success), spending time with her pets, and caring for her father.

What Makes THEM Special?

What makes me special as a JAI Parenting Coach is that I bring together lived experience, professional training, and a deep respect for both parents and children. I am a single foster mom who has parented children with complex trauma, big emotions, and challenging behaviors. I don’t coach from theory alone—I coach from having been in the hardest moments and learning how to navigate them with compassion and clarity.

I specialize in supporting parents of tweens and teens who feel stuck in power struggles, disconnection, or constant conflict. Many of the parents I work with are thoughtful, loving adults who are exhausted, overwhelmed, and unsure how to parent differently from how they were raised. I help them slow things down, understand what’s really driving their child’s behavior, and respond in ways that build trust rather than fear or control.

My background in learning and development allows me to translate JAI concepts into practical, easy-to-use tools parents can apply immediately in real-life situations. I’m especially skilled at helping parents reflect without shame, build emotional regulation skills, and create safer, more connected relationships at home.

I love working with parents who are open, reflective, and ready to break generational patterns—even when it feels uncomfortable. My goal is to help parents feel confident, supported, and capable of being the steady, connected leader their child needs.
