About This coach

Michele knows what it is like to be a mom. She has two thriving young adults and has been called Mom by hundreds of other tweens over 30 years. She has  had the privilege of working with thousands of children and their parents over her entire career as a special educator, classroom teacher and middle school administrator. She is honored to also support the families of Alfred Street Baptist Church as their parent/child development specialist.

Building authentic relationships was the key to her ability to build connections with her own children, her students and their parents. When we embrace connection, our relationships become stronger. Connecting to our head and hearts allow us to connect to the heads and hearts of our children. Authentic relationships let our children understand who they are and develop into thriving adults who feel loved, cared for and empowered.

Michele has a Bachelor of Science degree in Special Education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from Pennsylvania State University and a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies in K-12 School Administration from Regent University.

What Makes THEM Special?

I absolutely love and understand tweens (age 9-13 year olds). I have a gift for creating authentic connections with them and supporting their parents develop authentic connections through real talk and understanding how they think and develop.
