About This coach
Hi, I’m Samantha Ross, a certified parenting coach through the Jai Institute, speech-language pathologist, and mom to three kids (ages 1, 5, & 8). My own parenting journey began with a rocky start: I experienced postpartum anxiety and depression after the birth of my first child, and I often found myself searching for answers that felt realistic, supportive, and grounded. I didn’t want to parent on autopilot or rely on fear-based strategies. I wanted connection, confidence, and calm in the chaos. Becoming a parenting coach allowed me to turn that longing into something meaningful I could offer others.
I love being a coach because it lets me walk alongside parents during some of their most difficult and transformative moments. I believe that every parent deserves support, not shame, and that change is always possible when we feel safe enough to try. I'm drawn to the hard conversations, the messy middle, and those quiet turning points when things begin to shift.
When I’m not supporting other parents, you’ll find me on the sidelines of my sons’ games, chasing my toddler, sneaking in a date night with my husband, or savoring an iced tea in a rare quiet moment.
What Makes THEM Special?
My deep belief is that parenting isn’t about getting it all right, it’s about building meaningful connection. I specialize in helping parents who feel overwhelmed, unsure, or stuck in old patterns respond with curiosity, confidence, and emotional clarity. I’m especially passionate about supporting families navigating big emotions—whether that’s tantrums, power struggles, or moments that trigger a parent’s own childhood wounds.
What sets me apart is that I don’t just teach strategies—I help parents understand the why underneath their child’s behavior and their own responses. My coaching blends brain science, emotional regulation, and real-life tools to help parents become steady, attuned leaders in their homes. I bring compassion, humor, and a no-judgment zone to every session. A judgment-free space where clients feel seen and supported.
I support parents in tackling tough behaviors through a blend of positive discipline and collaborative problem solving, so they can build trust, emotional safety, and long-term relationship skills without resorting to fear or control.
I especially love working with parents of multiple children, guiding them through sibling dynamics with practical, connective tools. I also support families with young children, from infancy through age 10, with a focus on co-regulation, emotional safety, and grounded leadership.
Outside of Jai, I bring clinical experience as a speech-language pathologist, which gives me a unique lens on communication, regulation, and helping children feel understood—even before they have the words.
