Meet Tara – Parent Coach, Guide, and Fellow Traveler on the Parenting Journey

Parenting is one of the most profound and transformative experiences in life—and yet, it often feels overwhelming, isolating, and full of self-doubt. I know this firsthand. Despite my background in international development, my training in human-centered design, and my deep understanding of parenting frameworks, I still struggled with postpartum depression after the birth of my children. I had a plan, I had knowledge, but what I truly needed was support.

That experience shaped the way I coach today. With over a decade of experience living and working in international development while raising small children, I bring a global perspective and deep cultural sensitivity to my coaching. As a trained yoga practitioner, I weave in Zen principles and practices to help parents cultivate calm amidst the inevitable chaos. My human-centered design approach ensures we create personalized, adaptable parenting strategies that align with your unique family needs—because every parent and child is different.

Parenting is a journey; you don’t have to navigate it alone. Whether you’re preparing for birth, adjusting to life with a newborn, or seeking guidance as your child grows, I’m here to walk alongside you. You can break generational cycles, heal past wounds, and build a foundation of joy, connection, and resilience for you and your child.

Let’s take this journey—one step, one breath, and one breakthrough at a time.

What Makes THEM Special?

Empowered Parenting: Breaking Cycles, Cultivating Connection

What sets my coaching apart is my deep understanding of the emotional landscape of parenting, especially for those breaking generational cycles and seeking a more intentional, joyful approach. I combine evidence-based attachment science with a warm, compassionate presence, creating a space where parents feel truly seen and supported.

Are you noticing reactions in yourself that feel inconsistent with your self-view and values? Do you want gratitude to be the throughline of your parenting approach? Together, we can uncover the patterns holding you back and develop a parenting style rooted in connection, patience, and self-awareness.

With over a decade of experience raising small children while working in international development, I bring a global perspective and deep cultural sensitivity to my coaching. As a trained yoga practitioner, I incorporate Zen and patience practices to help parents navigate challenges with calm and clarity. My human-centered design approach ensures that together, we create customized parenting strategies tailored to your unique family—allowing you to experiment, adapt, and find what truly works.

While parenting and healing are lifelong journeys, progress is powerful. My results-based approach helps you see tangible shifts in your parenting and emotional well-being, keeping you motivated and confident. I also believe in the power of storytelling—both for parents and children. Crafting your personal narrative can help you process experiences, strengthen resilience, and teach your children how to make sense of life’s challenges in a meaningful way.

Support at Every Stage

Parent coaching is about you. I am here to help you become the parent you envision—one who breaks generational cycles, heals past wounds, and builds a foundation of joy and connection.

As part of your birthing team, I help you prepare emotionally and practically for parenthood. After birth, we use attachment-based, science-backed techniques to strengthen your bond and navigate early parenting challenges with confidence. Our work doesn’t stop there—we can also meet annually to reflect, adjust, and support your evolving parenting journey, because each stage brings new joys and challenges.

You don’t have to do this alone. Let’s walk this path together.
