About This coach

Hello I am a Certified Parent Coach, blogger, with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Human Development and Family Studies from University of Wisconsin-Stout. I also am a graduate of a Home Visiting program and Dialectical Behavior Therapy.

For years, I struggled with my oldest son and felt like I was alone and could not ask for help. Through the pain of raising my son, a mental health diagnosis, I started the work to heal from my unprocessed childhood trauma. Though I was taught skills to utilize in stressful moments, it was still hard to show up as a peaceful and safe mama. It was not until I found the help of a parent coach, that I was able to find a better way to connect with my boys without yelling, blaming, getting big scary and “mean”. Let me be honest, I don’t do this perfectly and neither will you! I saw a huge an immediate change in the way I showed up for my them and in my responses. This is where I found my life’s true calling!

I believe no family should ever have to go through this alone! My desire is to help parents that are in the thick of the everyday journey to become the parents they want to be and not react out of their traumas. I offer nonjudgmental support. There is always hope in finding a better way! I am a part of the healing solution for families generational patterns passed down.

The most important thing I learned in this journey is. It is never too late to create a new and safe home for your family! I started the transformational work with my own family and invite you to do the same! My sincere joy is to walk with families every step of the process and celebrate the little and big victories we will see together!

Today, I am the loving mom of Nathan, 7 and Joshua, 4 and happily married to my husband Zechariah for almost 10 years. I live in Chippewa Falls, WI where I love playing with my boys, having quality time with my family, writing blogposts, and leading my practice!

What Makes THEM Special?

I am a Dialectical Behavioral Therapy graduate. I have a YouTube channel teaching a new skill each week! These skills can be used by parents everywhere at anytime! I  I have utilized several resources over 6 years of my parenting journey. I share these with the parents I work with! I have experience in the mental health field and would like to offer hope for these families. Change is absolutely possible and necessary!
