About This coach
Amanda Carrara is a Master Certified Parent Coach and Trainer (Jai Institute for Parenting), Somatic Informed Practitioner (The Embody Lab), and Positive Discipline Parent Educator with a Master’s in Education. For more than two decades, she has supported children and families through teaching, community work, coaching, and somatic practice. She is the founder of Cultivating Connections and the creator of several parent-centered programs, including her 12-week course Revival Parenting.
Rooted in nervous system science and embodied transformation, Amanda’s passion is helping people develop a deep inner trust. Reminding them they are not broken and can move through their lives and passions with confidence and calm. Her work integrates somatic awareness, values-based guidance, and faith-inclusive support to help parents and caregivers reconnect with themselves and create steadiness in their homes.
Amanda lives in California with her husband, Matt, and their three children. When she’s not supporting families, you can often find her dancing in the kitchen with her bernedoodle, Finn—her favorite way to return to joy and regulation.
What Makes THEM Special?
Amanda brings a deeply embodied approach to healing and parenting. She helps clients develop a deep inner trust by learning to be with the parts of themselves that feel scared, overwhelmed, or unseen. Rather than trying to think their way through change, she guides people into somatic awareness, compassionate reparenting, and nervous system steadiness.

Her work is grounded in the belief that no one is broken and that confidence and calm grow when we meet ourselves with curiosity, presence, and care. With a faith‑inclusive lens, decades of experience with families, and a warm, grounded presence, Amanda creates spaces where clients feel safe enough to soften, reconnect, and transform.
