About This coach

I adore kids of all ages, especially my own two neuro-spicy boys. I went through a high-conflict divorce. While it was hard on me, it was beyond difficult for my children, who were only 8 and 6 at the time. I hired my own parent coach to navigate this dark chapter of our lives. My boys' behavior took a nosedive. My youngest, in particular, was very troubled by the situation and ended up with a 'trauma-based behavior' diagnosis. I kept wanting to help them. But what I came to realize is that they didn't need to be fixed; they simply needed empathy, compassion, and a parent whose nervous system was regulated. Seeing that I could connect with my own children in a new and profound way - with the support of a parent coach who didn't subscribe to power over parenting or strict discipline - I was encouraged to take it to the next level. So I went through the Jai Parenting Program with the goal of becoming a parent coach. After being transformed through the program, I am convinced that I can make a positive difference in the lives of parents and, in turn, their children.

What Makes THEM Special?

As a divorced mother of two boys - both of whom are neurodivergent - I bring a lot of firsthand experience with challenging parenting situations to the table. I am also a substitute teacher for two school districts. I believe I have a unique perspective on how kids behave in and out of the classroom. I am educated in child development. Prior to becoming a mom, I worked as a broadcast journalist. I have a sharp skill set when it comes to meeting people where they're at and connecting on an interpersonal level. I marinate in empathy and always find the joy in life, especially parenting.
