About This coach

I am now a certified Transformational Parenting Coach.

But let me share a little bit more about who I really am.

I am a compassionate and caring individual, as well as a mother of four amazing, beautiful, bi-cultural grown children.

I have lived in the Arab world for half of my grown life and the UK for the other half. My life-long partner and love of my life is from the Arab world which means I have a rich appreciation and understanding of two cultures. I speak both English and Arabic and have communicated with my children in both languages all their lives.

One of my favourite things to do is to spend as much time with my children as I possibly can. They are four very busy individuals so time with them is precious. When I am not doing that, I love to spend time with extended family and friends. Several of my friends live in different countries so I spend many an hour on Zoom!

When I feel like just switching off from the world, I usually watch Scandi crime dramas (I’m obsessed!) or go for long walks in nature (any park, forest, or beach will do) with my husband. Oh, and I almost forgot—I love dark chocolate!

What Makes THEM Special?

How I got here

Throughout my life, I have had a deep love and curiosity for understanding children and their perspectives.

My passion for understanding childhood development led me to become a Montessori teacher, and later pursue a degree in Early Childhood Studies, all while raising my four young children. Through dedication and hard work, (and very long nights) I achieved a First-Class Honours degree, which equipped me with a comprehensive understanding of the field.

With my academic accomplishments, I embarked on a fulfilling career as an Early Years Educator, working with high-need families from diverse backgrounds.  I later transitioned to working as a Family Support Practitioner, providing guidance and assistance with the aim to strengthen familial relationships and overall well-being.

Throughout my career, I have worked with hundreds of parents, supporting them in understanding what their children need to grow and thrive, both physically and emotionally.

What I want to give to others now as a parenting coach

Throughout my life’s work, I have dedicated myself to children and families. I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to make a positive impact in their lives, offering the tools and support needed to build strong, loving relationships.

My desire to continue supporting parents in their relationships with their children is as strong as ever. This led me to discover my true calling as a Transformational Parenting Coach.

Drawing from my personal journey, which has had its fair share of suffering and struggles, I bring a profound appreciation and understanding of life that fills me with empathy and wisdom.

My main area of passion and expertise lies in supporting families experiencing generational cultural disconnect between parents and children. I have personal insight into the challenges and conflict that can arise in such situations. I have successfully helped families who felt deeply disconnected from their children to the point where they barely recognised them and felt like they had nothing in common. During these tough times, they felt like they were failing as parents and the daily conflicts with their children were overwhelming.

I hope this first-hand perspective gives you a better understanding of my background and expertise. I am dedicated to guiding and empowering parents, helping them build strong, loving relationships with their children.
