About This coach

Cari Newman helps families create a more joyful, connected home life. She supports parents and caregivers as they learn to understand their children, break through frustration and burn-out, and sustain a positive, proactive approach to parenting.

Cari guides families to identify and lovingly disrupt patterns that are not working while developing strategies and creating an action plan. She supports parents of children with emotion regulation challenges, mental health issues, and social/emotional difficulties; children who don’t listen, don’t get along with others, and don’t follow rules; and children exploring their gender and sexual orientation.

What Makes THEM Special?

Cari is a Certified Parent Coach, a Certified Life Coach, and worked as a classroom teacher for 26 years. She was an organizational and family systems consultant for 17 years before moving into coaching full time. Cari received her BA from Emory and a Master’s in Teaching from Simmons College in Boston. She holds certifications in special education, early childhood, and middle grades, and is certified as an Orton-Gillingham instructor.
