About This coach

I raised my two young adult kids in Marin County, California. My daughter was delayed in many areas and then finally diagnosed with autism just before her 10th birthday. My son seemed like my easy kid until the wheels came off his sophomore year of high school. I tried as hard as I could to be a great mom, and even sought a LOT of help. Then I learned a new way to parent and transformed my relationships with my kids. and I KNEW I had to share what I'd learned with other parents, too.

I love kids so much. Babies, toddlers, preteens, teens, even young adults. They are my people. And YOU, the parents who are giving it all you've got to help your kiddos become happy, joyful, decent human adults. I bow down to your greatness. It's an endeavor unlike any other. That's why I love coaching so much. I get to help you lead your whole family into transformation!

I believe the purpose of life is whatever you decide it is. I believe people can change if they want to (even though it might be pretty freaking hard). I believe in the power of community. I believe in raising kind, compassionate human beings who are also kind and compassionate to themselves.

When I'm not coaching, I love to cook for friends, put my feet directly on the sand at the ocean, wear awesome shoes (sandals preferred), and connect with people in my community. I want everything I eat to be a taco. Or chocolate. My kids are my two favorite people in the world.

What Makes THEM Special?

I love working with parents of kids 8 and up who are just hanging by a thread parenting their uniquely-wired kids. You may be struggling with your kid's anxiety, depression, ADHD, or the many challenges that autism can bring. Or maybe you're afraid you're missing something even though your child is "performing" well.

My passion is helping parents of these unique kids figure out what's REALLY triggering their fears and how that's impacting their parenting. I love helping parents first have compassion and forgiveness for themselves. Then we work together to come up with more effective strategies to deal with the hard stuff that's absolutely, positively going to come up.

What sets me apart is my direct experience raising one child with autism/ADHD and another child with anxiety and depression. If that is you, I FEEL YOU AND I SEE YOU. I sought so much help and never really got what I needed. I was seriously hanging by a thread physically and emotionally, and then out of sheer necessity I began trying other ways of parenting my kids. And when my family began to transform, I couldn't help but wish I'd known better when they were younger.

And then it hit me: Other people can benefit from what I learned, both as a parent who was just trying to keep it together and as a graduate of the Jai Institute of Parenting. Yeah, I can help you with that!
