About This coach

Elizabeth Ortiz is a certified parenting coach with a background in education, leadership, and creative production. As a former educator and mom of three wild boys—including a set of twins—she brings both professional expertise and lived experience to her coaching practice.

Through her own challenges, Elizabeth has learned how to stay present and grounded—whether she’s searching for the perfect seamless socks or navigating sibling squabbles. Her coaching approach is rooted in attachment science, nervous system regulation, and trauma-informed practices.

As a bilingual, queer Latina, Elizabeth brings a fierce commitment to creating an inclusive and affirming coaching practice. Her superpower is deep connection—meeting clients with authentic empathy and an innate willingness to model strength through imperfection and vulnerability. She helps caregivers ditch guilt, get curious, and build strong, connected relationships with their kids.

Elizabeth believes real change starts when we slow down, get regulated, self-reflect, and show up authentically—especially when we’d rather hide in the bathroom. A firm believer in cosmic connection, she trusts that every experience serves a purpose and that everyone is worthy of meeting their potential.

When she’s not coaching or parenting, Elizabeth makes herself practice yoga—but absolutely refuses to stop sneaking chocolate in the pantry. You’ll also find her overcommitting to volunteer projects at her kids’ Montessori school, working in the garden, or overusing the library hold system.

What Makes THEM Special?

Before moving forward with a client, I always like to make sure we vibe—because this is vulnerable work. You should feel safe being authentic, and I want to make sure I can meet your unique needs. Coaching is an investment of your time, energy, and finances. I don’t like to waste any of it—yours or mine.

My background in education, along with training in attachment science, nervous system regulation, and trauma-informed practices, gives me a strong foundation. But it’s my realness and deep respect for each client’s journey that creates a space where lasting transformation can take root.

I combine empathy and firmness to foster growth, holding space for clients to stretch into new ways of being. I don’t have it all figured out—and I’ve likely made many of the same mistakes as my clients. But I’ve learned how to repair them with love, humor, and humility, and how to make better choices to avoid repeating them. I’m skilled at guiding others to do the same.

I care deeply about creating inclusive, affirming spaces where folks feel seen and supported. I especially love working with couples, single parents, queer families, multi-generational families, and those raising spirited, neurodivergent, or highly emotional kids—which often includes tending to their own inner child along the way. I support neurodiverse caregivers in understanding their unique brains and how those differences can impact their parenting goals—with compassion, clarity, and tools that actually work.

My ideal clients are parents who love their kids deeply—but feel overwhelmed. They want to break generational cycles and create a more connected, joyful experience for their families. Most have a clear sense of the parent they want to be—but feel unsure how to actually become that parent in the moment. Our work centers on the inner shifts that allow you to consistently show up as the version of yourself you know your kids need—and maybe didn’t realize you needed, too.

I balance professionalism with enough relatability that you’ll feel totally fine dropping an f-bomb (or ten) if that’s your thing. No pretenses. Just honest, compassionate, empowering work.
