About This coach

Hi, I’m Dr. Tricia-Marie Choya, a paediatrician, parent, and certified Jai parenting coach. My journey into parent coaching began not just in the hospital or clinic, but at home, navigating the beautiful chaos of raising neurodivergent children. I know what it feels like to question yourself as a parent, to feel the weight of doing everything “right,” and to wish for more connection, less conflict, and deeper peace in your home. That’s why I do this work. I believe that when we heal ourselves, we change the way we parent, and ultimately, we change the future for our children.

What makes me special as a coach is the blend of heart and science I bring to every session. I hold space with empathy, deep listening, and zero judgment. I believe that every parent is already whole and capable, and sometimes we just need someone to help us remember that. Coaching allows me to walk beside you, helping you discover your own inner wisdom and create the kind of family culture you truly desire.

When I’m not coaching or working as a paediatrician, I love spending time with my two boys, getting lost in a good book, and learning about personal growth, wellness, and child development. I love going to the gym and ensure my health is a priority. I’m also passionate about helping parents thrive, not just survive, in the journey of raising kids.

What Makes THEM Special?

I believe every coach has unique “superpowers” — shaped by their life experiences, God-given gifts, and the personal growth they’ve chosen to pursue.

My own superpowers lie in empathy, lived experience, and a deep commitment to helping families create connection now — not when life gets easier, not when the kids are older, but in the middle of the real, messy, everyday moments. Because tomorrow isn’t promised, and the way we show up today matters.

What truly sets my coaching apart is that it’s parent-centric. I believe that when parents begin to understand, support, and heal themselves — their entire family begins to heal too. Real change starts within. As parents grow in self-awareness and emotional resilience, they naturally become more connected, compassionate leaders in their homes.

Parenting can be incredibly hard. I meet parents exactly where they are, without judgment, and walk with them as they learn to lead with intention, build trust, and create lasting relationships with their kids — even in the most challenging seasons.
