About This coach

I’m a Mama on a mission to build a better world where our children can thrive and grow into their most authentic selves. It was during the uncertainty of 2020, when I also became a single parent, that I found my passion for helping kids by supporting Mamas. Recognizing the need for effective coaching and practical tools to empower parents, I decided to become a parenting coach.

I discovered the Jai Institute for Parenting in my quest to break the cycle of scared parenting and build a stronger, more meaningful bond with my child. I graduated from their program equipped with the skills to build a better relationship with myself and my child through acceptance, mutual respect, and care. My vast experience in healing and as a yoga teacher and meditator has given me unique insights into brain development, the significance of mindfulness, and ways to support struggling parents. I humbly believe this transformative work is what the world needs now.

I Believe:

• Radical self care is not just a concept, but an essential practice of self-reflection and healing. Parents need to take care of themselves first before caring for another.

• In order to create a better future, breaking generational cycles is essential.

• Children, just like all people, deserve dignity, autonomy, and overall well-being.

• Everyone should have access to support that is truly affirming.

At home, our family makes waffles for dinner, builds forts, dances, and gets lost in books. When we go out, we love to roller skate, spend time with friends, find secret stairs, and climb trees. Things fall apart and we try again. It is messy, and it is real!

What Makes THEM Special?

My holistic approach integrates over 20+ years of advocacy and healing experience with evidence-based practices. Being both a parent to a neurodivergent child and a yoga teacher, I appreciate the importance of prioritizing one's own well-being. I am committed to helping parents heal themselves so they can be the parents their children need. I aim to empower you as the expert of your child.

After my child began attending kindergarten, it became apparent that he was struggling. I faced the daunting challenge of navigating the complexities of public schooling, medical care, and insurance policies. Because of the extensive work I had undertaken with the Jai Institute, I felt well-equipped and ready to take on this task, determined not to give up. This experience taught me about the significance of neurodiversity-affirming, non-behavior centric methods and the importance of parents as their children's greatest advocates.

As an imperfect parent, I treat my daily life as a laboratory for learning. My commitment to supporting other parents runs deep, encompassing both the transformative work of healing and consciously parenting the next generation.

It’s my mission to provide parenting support that is truly affirming. I’m dedicated to empowering moms to overcome guilt and self-blame and access their own parental wisdom.
