About This coach

Hi πŸ‘‹ I’m Kristen - and I help parents of ADHD children support their unique brains with compassion, confidence, and strength πŸ’ͺ

As a parent of a child with ADHD, you may feel

πŸ‘‰ Overwhelmed or underinformed

πŸ‘‰ Constantly on edge, yelling, micromanaging, or in power struggles

πŸ‘‰ Judged by your family, community, or the school system

πŸ‘‰ At a loss for the best strategies to support your child while honoring their differences

πŸ‘‰ Scared for what the future holds

I totally get it - as a fellow ADHD brain and School Psychologist.

Parenting ADHD is NOT EASY….if you’re not dealing with the wise a** remarks from other parents or your community, you’re banging your head against the wall trying to make it through the day.

It’s exhausting and overwhelming

And you are often left on your own to figure it out. 😑

You DESERVE to have confidence supporting ADHD and be the parent you’re meant to be

Because not many people tell you this, but YOU are the game-changers

Not the school…not the community….not the peers.

YOU the parent(s) πŸ™Œ

It’s frickin HARD for your child to do well in a world that isn’t meant for them

πŸ‘‰ They need support.

πŸ‘‰ They need STRATEGIES.

πŸ‘‰ They need to know they CAN succeed

πŸ‘‰ They need open communication and collaboration

They need to FEEL EMPOWERED to live the life they want to live

They need YOU.

β–Ά This is why I began my Parent coaching business - to help empower parents to be just what their child needs and love parenting again...even with ADHD 😁

As a coach, I help parents, children, & families

βœ…Understand their child’s differences and create ADHD-friendly strategies

βœ…Build parent-child communication, collaboration, & trust

βœ…Revive damaged relationships with your child with ADHD

βœ…Navigate co-parenting woes

βœ…Advocate for the school support your child deserves

My approach is tailored to your exact needs. Through my onboarding process, we will create a 1-on-1 coaching plan that makes the most sense for you and your child.

What Makes THEM Special?

Soo my background is pretty unique to the ADHD Parent coaching realm! I come from a School Psychologist background (and am currently interning to get my license, YAY 😁). This means that I understand the school process for special kiddos - from assessments to counseling to talking to teachers to the oh-so dreaded IEP's/504's and their equally dreaded meetings. More importantly, I've seen the need for empowered parents of children with ADHD and what an impact it can have! This is why I'm here :)

On a personal standpoint, I also have ADHD myself (late diagnosed as an adult). As I've reflected on my past, I've realized that even though I was undiagnosed as a child....I was still struggling and felt so misunderstood by everyone. I don't blame them- you don't know what you don't know, but I WISH I felt heard and validated growing up. Now, I'm here to provide other parents the tools, awareness, and guidance to support their special kiddo that I wish my parents had growing up. ο»Ώ
