About This coach

I began my parenting journey in 2011 when a doctor handed me the most beautiful baby I had ever seen...mine. Since then, I've imperfectly navigated everything from sicknesses, surgeries, food intolerances, speech delays, behavioral struggles, sensory processing, anxiety, depression, and more. As a mom to now 3 children, I know how hard the different stages of life can be. Everything I thought I would be as a parent was thrown out the window as my nervous system got overloaded and overwhelmed by the stress, pressures of outside expectations, and more. Transitioning to a more "Power-With" style of parenting instead of a "Power-Over" style has truly changed my life and the lives of my kiddos.

I love being a coach because I get to help moms experience greater connection with themselves, their values, and ultimately their children.

My faith in Jesus is the foundation for everything. I have learned to love myself better and show love and kindness to others as a result of the love He has for me. I believe you don't have to be perfect to be a good parent, but the journey may require healing your own hurts, offering yourself compassion, and picking up different "tools" along the way to help you guide, teach, and love your children well.

When I am not coaching, I am writing children's books, reading action packed stories, homeschooling my children, going on adventures (even mini ones), watching K-dramas, and exploring new places.

What Makes THEM Special?

I blend my knowledge of science, scripture, and a little bit of soul into my coaching sessions. I'm not just a certified transformational parenting coach—I have walked this out. With the help of Jesus and many great resources, I was able to shift out of a controlling style of parenting into something more grace-filled that acknowledges the unique stages of life my children are experiencing.

I love to help Christian parents (and those who were raised in highly controlling religious parenting models) do the same. Because I was able to move from being reactive, angry, and anxious to parenting with more confidence, connection, and peace, I know others can do the same with the right support.

I especially enjoy helping parents of tweens and teens (and those who got a rocky start to their parenting journey) who want to repair their relationship with their children, but feel stuck in cycles of guilt, unhealthy religious expectations, or disconnection. These are the ones who deeply desire to break these unhealthy generational habits and show up with more gentleness, peace, grace, and emotional safety, while still holding boundaries that make sense.
