About This coach
Mafe is a mother to a wonderful tween, a step-grandmother, and a certified Waldorf teacher with extensive experience as a kindergarten teacher in Waldorf schools. In this role, she has supported young families through transitions, established healthy rhythms, and fostered developmentally appropriate parenting practices. She has also worked closely with families to strengthen routines and enhance the quality of their family time.
In addition to her work with young children, Mafe brings over 20 years of experience working with middle and high school students in independent schools. This diverse background has given her a profound understanding of the unique developmental stages across various age groups.
Mafe is deeply passionate about working with families in a non-judgmental and compassionate way. She provides kind and loving support to parents navigating the challenges of raising children. Additionally, she offers Sound Healing therapies to help both parents and children ground themselves, center, and calm their nervous systems, with a particular focus on supporting the vagus nerve. Her goal is to create a nurturing and supportive environment as families navigate the complexities of parenting and personal growth.
As a Latin American, Mafe understands the unique challenges faced by families of color and is dedicated to supporting mixed-race families on their parenting journey. She offers coaching in both English and Spanish, ensuring an inclusive and accessible experience for diverse families.
What Makes THEM Special?
I offer sessions in both English and Spanish and enjoy working with a diverse range of families, including those with young children and tweens.
With over 20 years of teaching experience, I have gained a deep understanding of children and their unique developmental stages. Beyond my teaching background, I have devoted many years to my own spiritual growth and healing, integrating sound healing as a powerful tool in my practice.
I approach every session with compassion, non-judgment, and a commitment to continuous self-improvement, creating a supportive and nurturing environment for the families I work with.
