About This coach
My mission is to be a guide and advocate for the well-being of children, parents, and families while building strong, loving connections. I know this is not easy!! I have lived it! As a parent of two sons, now 24 and 17 years old, I’ve experienced the complexities of raising children at different stages of development, with different personalities and needs. I dealt with stress, anxiety, and guilt, questioning my parenting decisions. And my kids felt it too!
I now have the tools and understanding to parent with less stress and more joy! Through parent coaching, I learned how to support myself and my kids with confidence, clarity, and compassion. I deeply understand myself and my kids and know why we react the way we do. I make parenting decisions based on my personal and family values, and now have less stress and guilt in my parenting. I can honestly say that I am happier and more joyful in my parenting than I’ve been in a very long time, and my relationships with my sons are now stronger and more loving than ever!
With 30 years of experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist, I’ve had the privilege of working with countless parents to support their children’s development. Together, we found solutions and discovered ways to connect with their children, making learning not only possible but also fun.
What Makes THEM Special?
I'm here to support you—with compassion, empathy, and without judgment. Together, we can work on letting go of guilt, reducing stress, and setting realistic expectations for both yourself and your children. The goal is for you to feel more confident and clear in your parenting journey.
For nearly 30 years, I’ve supported parents of young children with learning differences, delays, and challenges through my Speech-Language Pathology practice, Confident Communication. Drawing on my professional experience and training in Transformational Parent Coaching, I offer guidance and resources grounded in the latest research on child development, neuroscience, and emotional regulation.
Through our work, you’ll gain insight into your parenting patterns, better understand your child’s emotions, behavior, and development, and learn to recognize and manage your own triggers. You’ll feel more equipped to navigate everyday parenting challenges with calm and confidence.
