About This coach

My biography as a coach consists of my background as a parent of an adoptive children. We adopted her after a failed adoption at age 10. She suffered from grief and loss. She also had tantrums daily. It took a long time to seek help, and be able to meet her needs.

She now is 15. Her progress is ongoing. She has come so far in 5 years. I continue to use the methodology from Jai. I feel empowered as I apply strategies to my child. One of our little victories is the positive connections, that is growing. I love being a coach to witness the growth in parents and the transformation in the child.

I believe what makes me special as a  person is the adversity I overcame from my own childhood. I am now able to support my daughter, and families in Coaching because of the healing of trauma I received.

I have several hobbies and interests. I enjoy being outside, especially walking. I Substitute Teach in the school my daughter attends. I have been a teacher for over 25 years. After my husband and I adopted our daughter, my passions and goals have shifted. I still love being in the classroom, but now I have a new passion. I want to Parent Coach, and support other families. It's invigorating for me to see Parents meet their intentions and transform their lives.

What Makes THEM Special?

As an adoptive mom, I bring my experiences and what I've learned to my coaching sessions. My skill sets include supporting parents of children with trauma, special needs (I have a Masters Degree in Special Education. I am outgoing, and just the fact that I put my clients at ease sets me apart. Tension is diminished, and parents can focus on their intentions.
