About This coach
I have worn many hats during my lifetime so far. I am a daughter, friend, sister, mother, spouse, employee, business owner, dog mom, cat mom, and now also have grandpets! In each of those roles, my true self has emerged. I have a kind and sensitive soul, full of compassion for others, attentive to others' needs, and observant of relationships and patterns. I care deeply and take my responsibilities seriously. I value education and learning as well as being out in nature, enjoying the beauty that is all around us.
Academically, I have two post-college degrees. I received a Master of Arts in Education (MAE) and an Education Specialist (EdS) degree in School Psychology from the University of Northern Iowa. Since graduate school, I have continued learning by taking several certification courses.
What Makes THEM Special?
Hello! I am so happy to see you here. Let me tell you a little about myself. First, I have always enjoyed working with people to help them feel seen, heard, and know that they are important. I particularly enjoy helping individuals, whether that be children, teens, or adults, who might feel that their voice isn't heard. I have over 25 years of experience as a School Psychologist. In that role, I advocated for children's educational, emotional, and mental health needs. I listened and did my best to value each interaction I had with each individual to assist in their journey.
In addition, I have worked for the past several years providing executive function coaching services to youth and young adults. I have enjoyed working directly with young people in teaching strategies and life-long skills in areas such as time management, planning, prioritizing, and organizational skills.
I have experience and a special pull toward anyone suffering from mental health issues, in particular anxiety. I understand how challenging that can feel and how crucial it is to have a calm, supportive, caring person in your corner. Let me be that person for you!
