About This coach

I am a mother of four beautiful children ages 17-6. I am a passionate, kind and genuine woman who sincerely believes that a positive approach parenting is the best way to have a deeply connected relationship with your child.  I decided to become a parenting coach because I love being a mother and I also absolutely love working with the students and parents in the middle school.  I wanted to take my experience, passion and knowledge and bring it to the parents outside of my daily work to help support even a larger population.

I selected Jai Parenting Coaching Certification because it deeply resonated with my core beliefs.  It helped me understand my generational trauma and made it clear for me to see where it was showing up in my daily parenting. Through a deep dive of over six months of intense weekly studies with live classes, workbooks and practice circles I rediscovered a way of conscious and connected parenting that benefitted not just my children but me as a person. It helped me understand that the power over method of parenting that we grew up observing was not beneficial for my children's mental wellness. Jai Parenting method helped me deepen my connection with my children and my husband. It taught me to lead with love and kindness and raise empowered children. I am incredibly grateful for this work and passionate about working with other parents to help them connect with their children to strengthen their relationship and evoke peace and joy in their families.

I am an avid reader and a learner of psychology for life.  I have never been so fulfilled in my life. And now I want to continue my mission to work with parents so I can share my knowledge and  passion with other parents.  I am not perfect and I am a work in progress but everyday I strive to love myself, invest in my self care and be a good mom, wife, sister and friend. I practice kindness, acceptance, non-judgment daily towards myself first and then others.  When I am relaxing at home I love playing dolls with my daughter, watching my sons play hockey and tennis, go on dinner dates with my loving husband, go on walks with my dogs.  I practice daily self-care by eating healthy, meditating and exercising.

What Makes THEM Special?

I have a bachelor's in psychology and a masters in counseling.  I am a certified parent coach and I work with parents of underperforming middle school students who are struggling emotionally and academically find success inside and outside the classroom.

I have over 21 years of experience working with parents and adolescents as a middle school counselor.  I have extensive experience in individual and group school counseling.  I ran an after school DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy) group for adolescents.  I have lovingly guided hundreds of families through difficult transitions emotionally and academically during their middle school years.  I have also been a support and resource for parents when it comes to the 504 and IEP process.  I have mediated numerous meetings for parents with teachers and administration.  I have been a mentor and advocate for all of my students and parents.

I am deeply committed to offering a non-judgemental, empathetic, caring and  positive approach in parenting.  I believe that every family can get through a difficult time and achieve peace, joy and success.  My core beliefs and values include parenting children by practicing utter respect, extreme kindness and genuine love towards them.

If you have a child that is currently struggling in the middle school, please know there is hope, help and resources available and a successful middle school experience is possible for your child.  I would love an opportunity to explore this with you.  I look forward to connecting with you.
