About This coach
I have a deep passion for education. When I’m not coaching or hosting workshops, I am homeschooling my two boys and satisfying my own need for knowledge with new books, online courses, and even returning to college.
I enjoy keeping life simple. As a minimalist, I am currently living my dream of owning a tiny house while enjoying the freedom and community that life in an RV brings to my family and me.
I have been separated from my husband for almost two years and have created a life for myself and my children more beautiful than I ever imagined.
My upbringing was heavily influenced by the Christian religion, and at an early age, while dreaming of being a mother, I was told that if I didn't spank my kids, then I would be a "bad mom." After hearing this, I decided I'd never become a mom if I was going to be a "bad" one because deep inside I knew I could never agree with spanking. But life has a way of bringing us right where we need to be, and in my late twenties, I became a mom who was still determined to find a way to discipline without physically harming my children. It was a long, imperfect journey, but I found a way, and I'm excited to gently support you in your path too.
What Makes THEM Special?
Growing up with an autistic sister in a near-spicy family, I am very passionate about supporting mamas with neurodivergent kids. I'm also passionate about working with parents who come from Christian backgrounds and who are currently deconstructing their faith or navigating how to parent gently while many churches teach otherwise. I deeply believe that God has called us to parent with gentle hands and compassionate words, in the same way Jesus walked this earth. When you can sift through the outside voices, I believe the path is very clear. I love helping parents see how the science AND the Bible support gentle parenting.
