About This coach
I'm a paediatrician, parenting coach, certified paediatric sleep consultant, and a mother of two. I've always considered myself a patient parent. But still, there were moments when I became overwhelmed. I would hold in my frustration, try to stay calm and keep going... until eventually something small would trigger me and I would raise my voice. My own parenting journey taught me that parenting isn't simply knowing how to manage our children's behaviour. I learned to become curious about what was happening underneath, not only for my children, but for me too. As I began to understand myself and my children on a deeper level, I became the calmer, more confident and peaceful parent I wanted to be. And perhaps, more importantly, I began to enjoy parenting so much more.
That experience is a big part of why I love coaching parents today. I believe parenting is not easy, but we don't have to spend these precious years simply surviving it. Peaceful parenting doesn't mean getting it right all the time or never losing our patience. I want parents to feel that parenting can have more connection, confidence, peace, and joy, even in the messy moments. When I am not working with children and families, you'll usually find me spending time with my family, traveling, or enjoying a good book.
What Makes THEM Special?
What sets me apart is my unique combination of experience as a paediatrician, certified paediatric sleep consultant, parenting coach, and mother of two. I especially love working with parents of babies, toddlers, and young children who are navigating big emotions, challenging behaviours, sleep struggles, and boundary-setting. My medical background gives me a strong understanding of child development, while my work in sleep and parenting allows me to look beyond the behaviour and understand what may be happening underneath it. I bring together science, child development, emotional connection, and practical strategies to help parents understand not only what to do, but why their child may be behaving this way.
