About This coach

Hi, I’m Ashley! I’m a pediatrician, parent coach, mom of four, and fellow human navigating the extreme sport of raising humans.

After years of working alongside children and families in pediatrics, I found myself increasingly drawn to the part of the work that doesn’t fit neatly into a medical visit: supporting the humans doing the parenting. I wanted more space for the conversations about connection, behavior, boundaries, nervous systems, family patterns, and what it actually feels like to try to raise children in a way that aligns with who we want to be.

That pull ultimately led me to parent coaching and to creating Maylevi, my parent-centric coaching practice.

I believe parenting isn’t about mastering the best techniques or getting it “right.” It’s an ongoing practice of understanding our children, understanding ourselves, building skills, repairing when things get messy, and finding our way back to connection again and again.

My hope is that parents leave our work together feeling less like they need an expert to tell them how to parent and more confident in their own ability to navigate what comes next.

What Makes THEM Special?

I bring a unique lens to coaching as both a pediatrician and a parent coach, blending child development, nervous system science, attachment, and emotional intelligence with deep respect for the human in the experience of parenting.

I help parents look beneath behavior, both their child’s and their own, and shift from fear, shame, and a “how do I make this stop?” mindset towards curiosity, connection, and intentional action, which is always rooted in their own values.

I’m not here to hand anyone a new set of parenting rules. I’m here to help parents understand themselves and their children more deeply, build practical skills, and find a way of parenting that feels authentic and connected.

I am thoughtfully unconventional, deeply hopeful, and always show up with a dash of whimsy (or a hint of Ms. Frizzle vibes, perhaps? 😉)
