About This coach

My name is Pattty Cordova. First and foremost, I am a MOM (bio, bonus, and foster!) of 3 fabulous little ladies (16, 10, 4) and a boy (5). I love spending crazy times with them! Traveling and creating core memories for them! I have over 15 years of experience in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and parent and child education. I am a passionate and dedicated professional, driven by my enthusiasm to make a positive impact on the lives of children and families.

I currently work as an ABA Consultant at Summit Therapeutic Services, where I provide behavior analytic services to individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities, as well as training and supervision to Registered Behavior Technicians and BT candidates. I have also served as a Parent Educator Specialist at The Parenting Connection of Monterey County, where I facilitated workshops and support groups for parents and caregivers on topics such as child development, positive discipline, and stress management. I hold a Master of Arts in Special Education, with emphasis in Behavior Analysis from Brandman University. I am a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and a Certified Trauma Professional.

Some of the skills I have developed and utilized in my roles include pediatric first aid, parent education and coaching, and working with children and adults. I am fluent in Spanish and English, and I enjoy learning about different cultures and perspectives, which enriches my professional practice. My goal is to continue to grow and learn as a professional and to contribute to the well-being and empowerment of the communities I serve.

What Makes THEM Special?

I'm a Behavior Analyst working with special needs families... I'm a mom, foster mom, and step mom. I was a preschool teacher, so my approach is rooted in child development and behavior analysis, but also focuses on Parent Training.

I'm Peruvian (born and raised), Spanish is my first Language.

I work full-time at a crisis home for adults with special needs.
