About This coach

The greatest strength in my life is my family, namely my wife and my two teenage daughters. My passion for coaching grew from my own experience as a parent - my wife and I continuously talk about our children, our parenting, what's working, what's not, and it never gets old. I believe that parenting is, unequivocally, the most important part of creating healthy people, healthy families, and healthy societies. I also believe that parents often need just a slight nudge in the right direction, or a small new realization for them to make huge changes in the way they parent.  This can bring about lasting and profound changes in the family. That is why I coach. I love traveling with my family, playing music, tennis, and spending time in nature. I love laughing with my friends and family, and I always try to bring a sense of humor into the work I do.

What Makes THEM Special?

Being a parent, a teacher for over twenty years, a certified parent coach, and a certified youth resiliency coach has given me a wealth of experience and skills for working with parents dealing with tough issues. My coaching style is working with your strengths as a parent. We'll look at the issues you're facing as a parent, where they originated, and how they show up, but we'll really focus in on what you have control of.  I love working with parents who are open, willing and eager to make positive changes in the way they parent. I love working with dads, like myself, but I also work with any parent, mom or dad, who is looking to grow, change, and feel competent raising healthy, happy, well-adjusted children.
