About This coach

I am a solo, divorced parent of two children. I am obsessed with understanding how childhood impacts on the adults we become. This has been an interest in my life for as long as I can remember and it led me to Jai.

I have been a teacher for 13 years and am an aunt to six beautiful nephews. I mention being an aunt with great intent. I raised these boys with my sisters and some of the deepest questions I ever asked about parenting began with my love for them many years ago. For this reason this work is special to me.

In my own journey as a parent I realised very early on that threats, punishments, timeouts and bribes were just not going to serve my relationship with my children in the long term. I was determined to find another way in which I could honour both myself as well as my children.

When I am not parenting, teaching, coaching or counselling I love to walk in local parks and connect with God’s green earth. I love to curl up with a book, a blanket and some clean food. I enjoy taking long, hot baths, and riding my bike. I love to practise the art of stillness and believe there are great secrets in stillness and silence if we can learn to sit with our own selves.

What Makes THEM Special?

Having an array of experience as a teacher, counsellor, parent coach, parent and aunt I believe gives me the ability to see things from lots of different perspectives.  As a counsellor in training and a person who loves inner work, I have deeply explored my own self and met my own shadow. I have experienced deep sorrow and grief through divorce and understand the very real challenges of solo parenting.

My passion is to dig deep with parents and help them to find the root causes of challenges they are facing.  When we skilfully do this work together we can dissolve those blocks which are in the way of you having deeply fulfilling relationships with your children.

I am committed, passionate and invested in helping families establish authentic relationships with their children no matter what their age. This work gives me so much joy! I believe that no matter where the parental relationship is at, the rope of attachment keeps us connected to our children. Our children are longing and waiting for us to awaken, so we can meet them in the present moment and experience joy!

I have both professional and lived experience which I bring together in my coaching sessions. I believe God sends me the exact clients that I am destined to coach and connect with and so I cannot wait to meet you!
