About This coach

Hello, everyone! I'm Sylvia Maribei, a Jai certified Parenting Coach and the founder of The Nurturer's Toolbox. As a mother to an energetic soon-to-be 12-year-old boy, I've experienced the ups and downs of modern parenting and developed a strong desire to assist others on the same journey. My coaching is driven by my unwavering belief in the profound impact of empowering parenting on creating a better world. That's why my business tagline is "Empowering parents, nurturing generations." My mission is to transform family dynamics, one household at a time, and establish environments where children thrive and parents flourish.

Seeing a parent's eyes light up with newfound understanding or hearing about a previously elusive peaceful bedtime routine is incredibly rewarding. These transformations motivate me to jump out of bed each morning, eager to guide parents towards more joyful and connected relationships with their children. At the core of my approach lies a deep respect for children as complete human beings who deserve dignity, understanding, and unconditional love. I challenge outdated parenting norms that overlook children's emotional needs and instead advocate for strategies that embrace their unique personalities and foster genuine connection.

I am the author of "Navigating Parental Burnout: The Nurturer's Guide" and your ally in fighting against parental exhaustion. My toolkit is enriched by a tapestry of cultural experiences and the invaluable lessons I've learned from raising a neurodivergent child. This allows me to offer a truly holistic approach to family well-being. When I'm not immersed in the world of parenting, you might find me engrossed in the pages of a captivating novel, exploring different cultures through international TV shows (K-dramas are my current favorite!), or expressing myself through music. These diverse interests fuel my creativity and inform my coaching, enabling me to connect with families from all walks of life.

I'm here to support your shift towards a parenting approach that feels authentic, joyful, and deeply connected. Creating a home environment where respect, understanding, and love flow freely. Are you ready to embark on this transformative journey?

What Makes THEM Special?

As a Jai Parenting Coach, my special sauce is a blend of heart, expertise, and real-world wisdom to transform family life.

I'm your go-to guide for navigating the choppy waters of parental burnout. Having written the book (literally!) on this topic, I offer a lifeline to exhausted parents, helping them rediscover the joy in their parenting journey.

One of my secret weapons is my globe-trotting background, which has given me a wealth of cultural perspectives on parenting. This diverse lens allows me to offer solutions as varied and colorful as the families themselves.

But what truly sets my heart on fire is my personal experience as a parent to a neurodivergent child. This journey has deepened my empathy and fueled my passion for supporting families who embrace diverse needs.

Imagine your home as a nurturing nest, where safety and strong connections are the norm. This is the transformation I specialize in, using my Family Emotion Toolkit and other carefully crafted resources.

I am here to support parents of 2-12 year olds who are ready to trade stress for serenity, confusion for clarity, and chaos for connection. Together, we will create a family life that feels amazing in your heart, even when it isn't picture perfect.

If you are yearning for a parenting approach that honors your child's uniqueness and prioritizes your own well-being, let's talk. Your journey to a more harmonious and connected family starts here.
