About This coach

Hi mamas, dads, and all caregivers! My name is Taylor Huntenburg and I am a 29 year old single mom of 2 girls, aged 1 and 3. I am also a nursing school student with a goal of becoming a labor and delivery nurse and weaving together my two related passions; bringing new life into the world and watching them grow with a nurturing approach.

In my 29 years I have obtained my medical assistant certification, realtor license, TEFL certification, bachelors in international business, taught TK and worked in childcare for a number of years. I became a mom in 2021 and again in 2023 and have never felt more passion and purpose, as I’m sure is the case for most of us!

When my older daughter turned 2, I welcome my second daughter 3 weeks later. Toddler behavior kicked in, responsibilities increased, resources remained the same (being that I am a 1 person show), and my patience plummeted! I was beat down by it all.

Prior to becoming a mama of 2, I loved who I was as a mom! I was proud of who I was as my baby’s mom! We had a strong connection, I engaged in play and learning activities, I could juggle the responsibilities with ease, I really had it down!

What happened?! I often pondered this and wanted my sparkle back! Six months into the land of being a mama of two, I stumbled across The Jai Institute for Parenting and decided to hop on a call to learn what the parent coach certification was about.

I left the initial information call thinking “not right now” but all throughout that day and the next, I couldn’t stop thinking about “What if I do this? What improvements will I possibly see? I need to get my sparkle back for my daughters, for myself.” I also knew that if I didn’t follow my heart with this one, I would truly feel guilt. I knew I would be missing out on something amazing.

So, in true Taylor fashion, I enrolled despite that investment cost because I knew I would figure it out somehow. I also knew that I would be willing to pay whatever it cost to strengthen my relationships with my daughters and create lifelong bonds that would leave us all rich in connection, love, knowledge, experience, and security.

Fast forward and I’m now a parent coach here to help parents/caregivers make sense of their instinctual reactions and triggers to gain peace, presence, deeper connection and more joy with their children. Once I started the program, I NEVER looked back nor did I regret my decision in the slightest.

I have gained extremely powerful tools that have:

  • Assisted me in defining my values and understand where my boundaries come from.
  • Helped me make sense of my instinctual reactions and how to respond calmly through expanding my window of tolerance.
  • Provided knowledge around brain development to hold more compassion when unfavorable behavior occurs.
  • Guided me towards healthy ways of regulating myself so I am available to help co-regulate with my daughters.
  • Reshaped my limiting beliefs to be more expansive.
  • Increased my confidence level within the parenting realm specifically but all around as well.
  • Helped heal wounds created by past experiences that were affecting my parenting.
  • Let things be and remain present!

What Makes THEM Special?

I am open to working with all parents/caregivers however, I have a special place in my heart for single parents as I know all that comes with the circumstances. I resonate and empathize with other single parents as well as young parents and try to keep my pricing accessible for people within my age range and financial standing. I believe this work is extremely impactful and the more it can be spread the better.
