About This coach

Hi, I’m Kirsten,

I have been providing special education services to children and families locally for over 15 years and recently began offering my Parent Coaching services nation-wide! From workshops and live webinars to private Parent Coaching and Consulting, my services are always customized to work within each family's current structure.

Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to work with children of all age groups, from newborns to young adults across various settings. After focusing solely on children, from their behaviors to their cognitive abilities, I have realized that my true passion, and where I can make the most impact overall, lies in working with parents. I strive to help them understand what their child is communicating, provide feedback, tools and strategies to help them not only improve daily life but to foster raising a confident, independent child no matter what obstacles are set in front of them.

I believe that empowering parents and teaching children skills will change the world! Starting with making sure that parents and children's nervous systems are ready to learn and moving into how to teach and communicate skills so that we raise independent, well adjusted kids that KNOW they are worthy of love and acceptance!

When I am not supporting other families, I love spending time with my own family watching movies, hosting family dinners and watching sports. I love being outside, connecting with nature and coaching lacrosse!

I'd love to chat with you about your family and how I can guide you in your parenting journey. Visit my website https://www.connectionsparentcoaching.com to find out more!
