About This coach

Lara is devoted to supporting you on your journey to become a mindful and confident parent. After becoming a mother, she realized the necessity of truly healing herself in order to give her precious son the mother he deserved. After 15 years of coaching martial arts on an international level, Lara felt called to combine her education and leadership skills with her passion for supporting parents & children. Lara is also a Certified Fair Play Method Facilitator and in 2023 completed her parent coaching certification with the Jai Institute. She is committed to guiding parents in leading with compassion to understand their children and give themselves clarity. Outside of coaching, Lara loves to read, visit new restaurants, learn about interior design, and travel the world.

What Makes THEM Special?

Before becoming a parent coach, I spent 15 years coaching children ages 5-18 yo in one of New York’s best martial arts schools known to produce national, international and world champions. As a coach, I had the privilege of guiding children and their parents find their own interpretation of success on and off the mat. As a Fair Play Method Facilitator, I support those that cohabitate thoughtfully reassess the invisible (mental & emotional) labor in the home with the goal of reducing chaos, strengthening connection, and creating space for individuality. The culmination of these experiences has prepared me for becoming a parent coach more than I ever could have imagined. Having a newborn during a global pandemic, overcoming breastfeeding challenges and experiencing PPD and PPA, I felt called to support other parents in their journeys to find peace within themselves after becoming parents. I genuinely love supporting parents in finding compassion for themselves as they do the inner work to show up and raise the next generation.
